NCOSeries

The National Capital Open was designated as a "National Classic" for most of its existence during the time that NCVC promoted it ('76-'78,'80-'85). That term was awarded to events by the USCF to events through an application and selection process to between fifteen and twenty events each year. The "National Classic" series had several sponsors (Pernod, Campagnolo) at times.
