The National Capital Velo Club (NCVC) mountain bike race team comprises racers from the beginner to the semi-pro level.  Although rides are usually in the Maryland and Virginia area, NCVC is usually well-represented in most regional races.  The mountain bike team, as well as the NCVC group as a whole, prides itself on supporting beginner racers and helping to develop them into podium finishers.  Along with providing support and guidance, the team benefits from riding and racing together, not to mention the great discounts from our sponsors!
