Goon Ride leaves from way up on Beach Drive near Strathmore sometime around 5:30. Someone usually sends an obtuse message to the MABRA list that says something like "Goon Start 6" which means that it's starting at 6. Start time moves with daylight - it starts earlier early in the year. |

This is the most aggressive, fastest, most obnoxious ride around. You will get yelled at (I think Chris Horner might get yelled at by this group), you will get dropped, you will become better. NOT for the faint of heart. When you get to the point where you are regularly riding back up Beach with the group, you are ready. The weeknight equivalent to the 7AM RCP ride, only shorter and faster. |

Cue Sheet: |
- Beach Drive near Strathmore sometime around 5:30. Continues down Beach to the bottom of the park, then turns up Ridge Road to Ross, then back up Beach. Usually there is a split where Beach goes under I495, with the option of continuing up Beach or going up the hill past the Mormon Temple.
